Mackinac Island is truly a gem of a destination, its beauty enhanced by the surrounding waters of Lake Michigan. This trip combines the beauty of Mackinac with a visit to Thunder Bay Resort. Highlights include an Island tour by horse-drawn wagon with a luncheon at the world famous Grand Hotel and an authentic, but luxurious Michigan backwoods stay with gourmet dinner prepared on antique wood cook stoves.  
Day 1: Following an early evening arrival in Mt. Pleasant, MI, we will have dinner and wine tasting at Current Mist Winery, along with 
Day 2: This morning we will enjoy a rest stop at Cops & Donuts bakery for a mid-morning break. We depart for lunch (on your own), en-route to Mackinac Island. After lunch, it is off to St. Ignace, via the “Mighty Mac” Mackinaw Bridge to board the Starline Ferry for our journey to Mackinac Island. Our overnight stay is at The Murray Hotel, downtown Mackinac, close to shopping or a leisurely stroll down the main street. Dinner is included at the Yankee Rebel.
Day 3: This morning we will step aboard a horse-drawn wagon to tour this beautiful Island, followed by lunch at the spectacular Grand Hotel. After lunch, you will have free time for downtown shopping before we board the ferry and continue on to the Thunder Bay Resort, a popular destination offering the unique opportunity to enjoy the rustic Michigan experience in comfort. While at the resort, we will board horse-drawn wagons and make our way through elk country with a narrated tour and viewing the animals as we go. Arriving at the Elk Antler Log Cabin, we will be served a five-course, gourmet dinner and wine tasting, prepared on antique wood cook stoves.

Enjoy the scenery & nostalgia of “riding the rails” on the steam powered Cass Scenic Railroad up to Whitaker Station, the Tygart Flyer over the Cheat river and a tour of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory are highlights of this tour.
Day 1: After a beautiful drive thru the West Virginia Mountains, we arrive at Elkins and the Holiday Inn Express, our home for two nights. This evening we enjoy dinner (included) at the Railyard Restaurant along with a concert of bluegrass and country.
Day 2: A scenic drive takes us to Cass, WV, with a stop at the Greenbank Radio Observatory and a view of the world's largest fully steerable radio telescope. Upon arriving in Cass, we’ll have time to visit the Company Store and other Depot attractions before boarding the train that will take us to the top of Bald Knob mountain. On our way up on this old logging railroad we’ll go through switch backs as our steam locomotive chugs up the steep mountain grade, a box lunch is included. Dinner and a show tonight are included at the Gandy Dancer Dinner Theater.
Day 3: This morning, we board the Tygart Flyer, a vintage diesel-powered passenger train. View the beautiful scenery as we travel through a deep canyon and cross the high bridge over the Cheat River before reaching the “High Falls of Cheat”. This ride takes us through some of the most remote and pristine country in the area. Enjoy an included lunch on the train before we depart for home.

the top of Cannon Mountain, dinner at Salem Cross Inn and much more!
Day 1: Overnight at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, dinner, breakfast and free play casino

Day 2: We will meet our step on guide and begin our day traveling thru the White Mountains
of New Hampshire, across the Kancamagus Highway to the Conway Scenic Railway for some
of the most dramatic natural scenery in the East, box lunch included. Shopping awaits us in
Littleton, NH before a drive thru Franconia Notch State Park, a gem in the White Mountains
with towering cliffs and 2 mountain lakes. We arrive at the Flume Gorge/Visitors Center, a
Natural granite gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. A short self-guided tour
includes covered bridges, waterfalls, mountain views and wild flowers. Dinner included along
with an American Whiskey Presentation.
Day 3: We begin our day aboard the M/S Mount Washington, a first class 230-foot excursion
ship. Cruise the crystal-clear water of Lake Winnipesaukee located in the beautiful Lakes
Region at the foothills of the White Mountains. Lunch and shopping time, on your own. This
afternoon we tour the Wright Museum, featuring the World War II years with aircraft and tank
exhibits. Escape the ordinary and relive dining on the rails. Enjoy a 5-course meal served in
the Grand European manner, served with music on the Café Lafayette Dinner Train followed
by a dramatic sunset outside your window.
Day 4: Spectacular rugged mountain scenery will be our view from the Tramway to the top of
Cannon Mountain this morning. See the towering peaks of the Franconia and Kinsman
mountain ranges, with views of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Canada! Lunch on your
own in Woodstock before continuing to the “Bay State”, Massachusetts. Dinner is at the historic
Salem Cross Inn. Settle in as a baker prepares your dessert; a deep-dish apple pie, right before
your eyes. Let the “FIREPLACE FEAST” begin! Relax and watch your prime rib roast by
rotating it slowly over a crackling fire.
Day 5: Beginning out travels home, we will stop and tour the Connecticut State Capital in
Hartford. Lunch is on your own before an overnight in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Day 6: Continue on to the “Buckeye State”, lunch and dinner stops on your own.

From winter light displays to captivating holiday shows, experience the Smoky Mountain Winterfest Celebration and let us do the driving! We will have a 3 night stay at the Dollywood Dream More Resort and Spa, ranked one of the top hotels in the South, learn more of Dolly Parton and the area she was raise in and stories of “her people”.
Day 1: Travel south with us to warmer weather, check into the Dollywood Dream More Resort with time to explore and have dinner, included. 
Day 2: We begin our day at Anakeesta, Gatlinburg’s newest mountain top park. Stroll along the 16 bridge Tree Top Skywalk hanging 50 feet in the air, climb Anavista Tower, the highest point in downtown Gatlinburg and take in 360-degree views of the Smoky Mountains, zipline or ride the single mountain rail coaster (extra cost). Time for shopping therapy and lunch to spend a $20 voucher at your leisure. Dinner is included at the Dolly Parton’s Stampede.
